The tank is built from top to bottom, one section at a time. The height of the tank is tailored to your unique requirements.

Galvanised Bolted Tanks

All mild steel components are hot-dipped galvanised as per SANS 121 (ISO 1461), ensuring durability and corrosion resistance of the fire water storage tanks.

Sealing and Durability

The tanks are sealed with an EPDM double flanged gasket, adding an extra 4mm double ribbed sealing solution.

Bladder System

Prevents liquids from making direct contact with the tank panels and consist of a food-grade PVC plasticised formulation coated on a polyester woven fabric with high-frequency pattern weld adhesion.

Foundation is built with dwarf walls as per the approved design.

Building the Tank

Square tank built with safety ladder and top hatch. The tanks are usually built in close proximity to the fire pump room.
